Kensei's Kiss
The sun was setting in the distance, the sky was pink and the glade of cherry blossom trees glowed red. There was a light breeze in the air, it was silent save for the rustling of branches. It was beautiful.
Footsteps crunched on the ground, a bird flew away at the sound of them. Two men leading a horse entered the glade, they were silent save for the sounds of their footsteps and their ragged breathing.
"We'll sleep here tonight." Said one of them, a tall blonde British male. He had tightly cropped hair and lively blue eyes. "We'll go to the village in the morning."
"Okay." Said the younger of the two. He was Japanese, his black hair was windswept, his large dark eyes were framed with shiny squared spectacles which shone red in the setting sun.
"Hiro, I never thanked you." Kensei said, he stepped over to the younger man, his face level with his. "thank you for teaching me how to be a hero."
He leant closer, closing the gap between them. Their lips locking for a moment that would never be spoken of again...
